Is your child interested in playing rugby? Whether it’s their first time or they currently play for another club we welcome boys and girls of all experience and ability, so why not come down and take a look or join in - it’s entirely your choice. From September through to the end of April we train at home most Sundays starting at 10.00 and finishing about 11.45. After, everyone is welcome back to the club house for something to eat and drink. When we are not training, we are either playing fixtures against other local teams when all the children get the opportunity to put into practice what they have learnt. We also take part in a number of rugby festivals held throughout the season.
All our coaches have undergone a DBS check, attended an RFU safeguarding children course as well as various RFU coaching courses and all the coaches have children that play in our age group. As coaches our role is to provide the children with a good base of skills allowing them to develop their love of the game and become competent rugby players whilst teaching them the values of rugby - teamwork, respect, discipline, sportsmanship and above all enjoyment.
So if you want to arrange a time to come down and either watch or your child take part or you just want further information then please contact me. Hopefully see you and your child at Maidstone Rugby soon.
