The Maidstone Stormers are an enthusiastic mixed squad of boys and girls who enjoy playing rugby. Our ethos is to maintain a balance between competition and inclusion. We strive to push all players to reach their goals and play to their potential. We also expect all players, coaches and parents to live up to the values of Respect, Teamwork, Discipline, Humility and Sportsmanship. Our playing season is September through to the end of April. We play festivals, have friendly matches and joint training sessions with other local clubs. If not up against opposition we train at home Sunday mornings, starting at 10.00 and finishing about 11.45. After these sessions, we encourage everyone to head back to the club house for something to eat and drink and enjoy the social side of rugby.
All our coaches have undergone a DBS check, attended an RFU safeguarding children course as well as various RFU coaching courses and all the coaches have children that play in our age group. As coaches, our role is to provide the children with a good base of skills allowing them to develop their love of the game and become competent rugby players whilst enjoying themselves.
If you would like to arrange a time to come down and either watch or have your child take part, or you just want further information then please contact us.
